Note they segregated the fuel on a two engine plane and isolated fuel type to a designated engine. But of course it worked. Note the aromatic nature of the fuel claimed by Marathon. Likely make it compatible with the current engines. We know GE is working on modifying their jet engines to work with the current type of SAF available. FYI - Eric is working out at Marathon's Salt Lake City refinery as a technical service engineer selling product additives and other specialty chemicals. Their SLC refinery, while using crude oil as its feedstock, is configured to make as much jet fuel as it can because that is the market they have out there. We have been working with the Mandan-area Baker Hughes representative (Eric's older brother Alex) for information regarding additives for the SAFX plant.
